Peter Sedlak, vice president of Marketing & Purchasing at the Sherwin-Williams Co., said Preval was selected for the award, in part, because of the company’s drive to succeed and the unprecedented success of its relatively new vFan, a portable airbrush system that has been enthusiastically welcomed among professional contractors as well as a number of other industries.
The vFan led to a 12 percent sales gain in Preval’s Sherwin-Williams contracts. And despite the rapid growth in the paint and coatings industry and others, Preval has maintained as one of its core business values an unrelenting focus on quality, value and customer service.
“Somehow they (the Preval Spray Team) can separate themselves from the pack by out-servicing most," Sedlak said.
Preval, and its parent company, Chicago Aerosol, were recognized with the award at the Sherwin-Williams’ vendor luncheon this month in Nashville, Tenn.

The vFan is used for precision paint and material dispensing; touch-ups and surface repairs; surface preparation; and curing.
